I admit it, it sometimes takes a little while for a concept to get to me (or for me to get a concept). So my introduction to the “Bechdel Rule” didn’t happen until this was posted at io.9. Which led to reference to this story at npr.org. For those folks not wanting to click the links the rule is that Bechdel would only go to see a movie if it had:
1. At least two female characters, who …
2. talk to each other about…
3. something besides a man.
I would love to be able to send her a link to the novel and see if this meets with her approval…
